The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA)
is the national and international voice for Canada’s veterinarians, providing leadership and advocacy for veterinary medicine. CVMA priorities include: leadership on national veterinary issues, animal welfare advocay and helping veterinarians and their staff build a successful career with work/life balance.
The Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA)
helps veterinarians make the most of their profession as well as find work life balance. The OVMA established the Farley Foundation which is a wonderful charity providing financial help for pet care to individuals that truly are in need. As a member of the OVMA, every year Brock Street Animal Hospital holds a fundraising event for the Farley Foundation. Since 2002, the Farley Foundation has assisted well over 6400 low-income pet owners by subsidizing the non-elective veterinary care of their sick or injured pets. Way to go Farley! The College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)
is the licensing body for veterinarians in this province. Brock Street Animal Hospital is a CVO accredited hospital. The College protects your right to safe, competent and ethical veterinary care.
